Demonstration against abduction of Shahzaib Baloch

Quetta: Dozens of activists of Baloch Students Organization (BSO-Azad) on Sunday staged a demonstration outside Quetta press club to protest against missing of Shahziab Baloch president BSO Quetta chapter.Participants of demonstration were holding placards and banners bearing various demands, urging the govt for immediate recovery of Shahziab Baloch and other missing persons.Addressing the demonstrators, BSO leader Salam Baloch, Chakar Baloch and others termed the reconciliation efforts of the government a ‘fraud’ to Baloch people and said that it was nothing more than delaying tactics. He alleged that nothing had been changed in Balochistan after ousting of dictator Musharraf while missing of political workers and excesses of security forces were continued in Balochistan.They alleged that in so-called democratic govt, dozens of people had been picked up by secret agencies including BRP leaders and Shahzaib Baloch.They demanded the United Nations to play its due role and take immediate note of missing of political activists and stop excesses against Baloch people.
